Week 12 ahhhhhhhhh this is going so fast!
Monday, PPRS met and it was just everyone just vibing and chilling. After that, my roommates and I saw James Bond: No Time To Die; it was good.
Tuesday, I met with my advisor to discuss classes for next semester. She told me to relax and not do a lot of credits, and we will discuss more in-depth another time. So, can’t wait for the next meeting. I also led my mentee group for HAS (Haiku Society of America). Then at Applied Storytelling, the class discussion was around editing transcripts into narratives.
Wednesday, I had chapel and then I went to Columbus to celebrate my friend’s birthday.
Thursday, I returned to Richmond and did general work. That night, at poetry, my first draft of my poetry portfolio was discussed. Everyone gave good feedback and loved my poetry.
Friday, I had a meeting with my poetry professor about my poetry portfolio, and she really enjoyed my work.
Saturday, I facilitated the monthly Ohio haiku meeting. Then my roommate’s parents came and visited. So, we all went out to dinner. Later that night, I met with my RCIA director and interviewed him for my Applied Storytelling class.
Sunday, I had many meetings with Phi Beta and Haiku North America. I am a member of the program committee for the next conference in 2023.
I am still chugging along with nanowrimo. This weekend was a little rough but by tomorrow, I should be at 30,000.
Prayers and thoughts are always appreciated for me as I continue my journey in higher education! Thank you for reading and have a blessed day!
