Week Fourteen! Turkey Time!
On Monday, I went with the seniors from Seton and helped out Rock Solid Ministries with distributing their Thanksgiving baskets. Then I took my roommate to the airport in the afternoon.
The rest of the week was a week of relaxation and also working ahead. I saw friends and family and ate great food. I managed to work ahead on some of my final projects for the semester. I also continued to write for nanowrimo.
Today is the first day of Advent! I am very excited as I am doing a couple things to prepare myself for the coming of the Lord. The first thing I am doing is the Memento Mori: A Companion on the Last Things Advent Devotional by Sr. Theresa Aletheia Noble, FSP. I have done her Lenten devotional, so I was super excited to support her on Kickstarter for this new project.
I am also fasting from YouTube (except in cases for class or tutorials). This is already a struggle for me. I noticed I am using YouTube way too much in the last several months, so I need to reign it back in.
Prayers and thoughts are always appreciated for me as I continue my journey in higher education! Thank you for reading and have a blessed day!
