Week 15! Last week of classes!
On Monday, I worked on homework. We had our last PPRS meeting that evening as well, and it was a potluck. I made my Olive Garden Chicken for everyone and everybody liked it!
Tuesday evening was the last class of Applied Storytelling. We just did a recap of the class, and I did my Moth story. That night, I finished the first my novel!!!!! A little over 60,000 words and I finished at 1:30 ish AM. I also wrote 12,000 words on that day. I was very fried the next day. Never would do that much writing in a day again.
Wednesday morning, I had SLT meeting and chapel. I rested and then worked on my next paper. I also met with the dean of students to talk about declaring a MA and other work.
On Thursday morning, I went to Coffee with Carter where the president of the seminary has coffee with faculty, staff, and students. I then met with my advisor to talk about doing an independent study and planning a second MA. During that meeting, I learned that the Iona trip that I was planning on going on with Bethany was cancelled due to COVID and its new variant.
Thursday evening, I had the last class of Poetry Workshop where we just workshopped more poems.
Friday afternoon to evening, I had my last class of Sci-Fi & Theology. We had presentations and talked about Doctor Who.
Saturday was the rest of class. We finished the presentations and talked about The Matrix trilogy. After class, I went to the grocery store with fellow seminarians.
Sunday, I went to mass and got a free book. The parish gave out The True Meaning of Christmas: The Birth of Jesus and the Origen of the Season by Michael Patrick Barber to all the parishioners. Then I took a nice three-hour nap. After my nap, I worked and had bible study to top it off my night.
Prayers and thoughts are always appreciated for me as I continue my journey in higher education! Thank you for reading and have a blessed day!
