Week 21
Monday—I did my homework and work study work.
Tuesday—At Intro to Theological Reflection, we discussed on how we could speak about God. We looked at some of the writings of Julian of Norwich, Nicolas of Cusa, and St. Thomas Aquinas.
At Preaching, Theopoetics, & Society, we went over the readings and continued to think about our upcoming sermons we have to give in the next two weeks.
Wednesday—I had chapel in the morning and worked on schoolwork the rest of the evening.
Thursday—At Theopoetics 1, we continued to discuss Alves and then touched upon Mary Oliver.
In the afternoon, I joined my professor from ITR (Intro to Theological Reflection) on Zoom with other classmates to discuss more about the Canon of Scripture over tea.
During the evening, I facilitated a small group with my fellow PPRS members where we read the first chapter of Mark.
After the small group, I drove to Columbus to hang out with my girlfriend.
Friday—I had a meeting with my haiku mentees.
Saturday—The February Ohio haiku group’s monthly meeting took place. After that, I had a meeting with Phi Beta’s National Council.
Sunday—In the morning, I walked six miles with one of my classmates. Then it was another day of work and hanging out with my girlfriend.
It was a very chill week; however, I am struggling with motivation for some reason. Well, hopefully, I can get out of this slump and stay on top of my work.
Prayers and thoughts are always appreciated for me as I continue my journey in higher education! Thank you for reading and have a blessed day!
My motivation is also slipping lately - for me it seems like it's because of the dreary winter weather.
